My experience was years ago. I always hope I was the bad customer. But time proves I'm not. I want to remember the story so that the owner can remember. We came as two people, but I was the only one who wanted to eat, we just put one order. I had taken every chance to speak Vietnamese. Unfortunately, I first thought it had the Vietnamese staff with Vietnamese guests. Anyway, I waited until I came to the bathroom and paid. I'm approaching the cashier and ask for the owner. My colleague keeps introducing me to these small, but amazing restaurants. Pho Dau Bo was awesome! Our server, Elena, was friendly outgoing. She helped us wade through the menu. We both chose the Spicy beef satè noodle soup. We also shared spring rolls to...start. The portions are HUGE. I’ll have soup for two more days. I would highly recommend that if you find yourself down 17th Ave SE, you have lunch at this place. It was sooooo good. Thanks to the whole team. I’ll definitely be back!
The service is good as we have been here twice. Sate’ Soup is good, tasty and ample of meat plus the Bone Marrow is awesome. 2nd time we dine here I order #1 in the menu list, I asked for large, its just the bowl...got bigger but same amount of noodles meat not worth for large. For that I gace them 3/5 coz ee drove all the way from our place just to try but not worth the travel
Haven't had the PHO BO SATE with steamed wontons in over 4 months and I can honestly say I missed it so bad. I went straight to the restaurant, had a spectacular bowl of PHO in a safe atmosphere made by some carrying people, food...bank donations being accepted at the door. What more could one ask for. Absolutely great.
