The food is great here but lately the service has been lacking.Just yesterday me and 2 other of my friends went and it already started out bad. They didnt notice us until we got all the way to front where they finally saw us and pointed at a table.It was a rainy day so there were a few table occupied with families but they already had their meal and the servers were no where to be seen other than in the kitchen or behind the register.10 mins had passed and some families had already finished their meals and left and we still hadnt gotten our menu at least. my friend and I raised our hands politely to get the man behind the register attention but all he did was see us and wave back.5 mins late...
My wife really dislikes this place, but I actually enjoy their pho tai. The broth is solid, and the meat cuts are good, though the portion sizes could be a bit larger. The staff here is great, too. We did run into a language barrier when my wife ordered charbroiled pork spring rolls. The first time, they mistakenly brought us shrimp spring rolls, but they gladly accepted them back without any extra charge so we could try again. Then they served her steamed pork and shrimp spring rolls instead. They returned those as well and finally managed to get her the right order. Pho broth is good, meat is good, veggies are good, and the noodles are fine. It's 50 cents more expensive than the place across the street, but I think the atmosphere is better. Portion size is a bit smaller than other places but still filling. Pho satay is not spicy, you can add the spice yourself with condiments. It has a strong peanut flavor.
Should have ordered from my usual, Pho Hollic or Pho Good. Paid $13.5 for tendon, tripe, and rare steak and was in shock/disappointed of how little meat this place gave us. On top of that, there is nothing special about their broth that would WOW you. Back to my 2 corners and definitely will not come back to Pho Hoan Pasteur.

Newly opened Pho place. Very nice and clean store. Broth is very yummy. Satay Pho is their signature bowl so make sure you try it. Meat quality is soooo good, better than other Pho places I?ve eaten. Price is acceptable. Highly recommended!
22 years ago a friend introduced me to Pho, I have been to many places.Pho Hoan Pasteur is one of the best places I have ever been! Great broth and portions, I always leave here happy. ?
