As a frugal shopper I am always looking at sourcing the best option available in the local area. For a lunchtime/anytime option in Hurstville it would be hard to go past the rolls made to order at King's Hot Bread . With a queue out the door and the team churning through the requests at an efficient speed, this location is well supported by the locals. Today is my third visit- twice before with #crk2154, and nothing has changed. Great value with my Pork Roll @ $5.00 and plenty of other choices ranging in price from $4:50 +. There is rustic charm about the basic shop fittings and fixtures, and the mixture of printed and hand written sings does detract from the level of business professional....

My favourite Banh Mi in Sydney. I've been going for 15 years and seen the prices and popularity go up with the options. My favourite are the dim sim roll or salad roll while friends prefer the pork roll or char Siu roll. This place is family run with good service. Avoid peak meal times to avoid rediculous cues. They do also take large orders by phone for pick up. Highly recommended. Was randomly closed last week though

A hot bread vietnamese bakery with lots of options for Banh Mi and the lines outside this store can get ridiculously long. Sure, its good Banh Mi probably because there is high turn over of the stock meaning the fillings are relatively fresher than other locations. Apart from that, it is quite overhyped and is no better than the other Banh Mi I have gotten elsewhere. For the waiting times, I would rather go elsewhere Book a table now

Among all the Banh Mis in Sydney, I find the pork roll at King's Hot Bread the most authentic and delectable. I like the way how traditional Vietnamese soy sauce was added to the freshly cut chilli to create a flawless combination without getting too spicy like Marrickville's. I also like how the bread is freshly baked, so it does not taste too hard or dry. A little suggestion for the servers is to add more sauce!!

Always a long queue for pork roll. The bread is crunchy but not hard. Vegetable and herb are refreshing, meat taste just delicious. The sauce is towards the sour end, but still taste nice. There are many sorts of biscuits and bread available there at low price. Good value for money. *cash only

Love this place ! I always used to come here in the morning to get me a salad roll or a bacon and egg roll. The bread they use for the rolls are not too hard or too soft. Staff were very lovely. Sometimes or usually there's always a long queue, so i suggest avoid coming here at rush hour times.

The best Vietnamese rolls (banh mi) I have had. There are bigger more popular places in Sydney, but the people there are always friendly, the bread fresh and crispy , the servings generous with good quality produce and variety of offerings.
