The staff on the floor are all Italian, but the dishes coming out of the kitchen are not quite authentic Italian, in my opinion. My partner ordered veal cutlet al limone, which should have been served with a sauce made from white stock, white wine, and lemon juice. Instead, the grilled cutlet arrived dry without any sauce, just a drizzle of lemon juice, served with butter noodles. I ordered a plate of pasta from the table d'hôte, but received gnocchetti instead of the gemeli that was listed on the menu. The chicken in the dish seemed to be from a frozen product and everything was swimming in olive oil. Our friend's fried zucchini looked too perfect to be freshly cut and seemed to be frozen....

This restaurant is located on Le Corbusier Blvd, near St_Martin Blvd, just off the A15, in a small shopping mall. A small terrace is available in summer. The atmosphere is fine with good service. The food is great and fresh, with a "Table d'Hôte" that include a soup of the day or a small salad (house a Cesar) and an entree. They have also great choice of pizzas, For pastas, you have a choice of pasta and different sauce you can combine. I took the veal with lemon and it was delicious! The wine list is a bit small but still interesting and prices are ok and you a have a few choices of wine by the glass Will return with my wife and friends!
Had a quick trip to do to Montreal area and wanted a very good meal to threat myself. I found this restaurant using Trip Advisor app. I called to make a reservation but they don't take for single person. They asked me to come and wait at the door so I did. Waited 45 minutes to be seated but it worth the wait. Had entree with tomatoes, boconcinni and olive oil that tasted like in Italy. Then pasta you have choice between 8-9 pasta and 15-17 different sauce you can combine. I took the cheese ravioli with carbonara sauce. Everything was fresh and tasty. The Limoncello cake is absolutely wonderful. Will have come back!
On a rainy night in Laval, what would be better than spending a couple of hours in a family style Italian restaurant, complete with white tablecloths, good wine, fine food and friendly and capable service. The menu is extensive with nothing missing. The mussels were terrific as well as the pasta. The Osso Buco was excellent and enough for two. We finished with an excellent Tiramisu for dessert. The place is buried in the middle of a strip mall on Boul. le Corbusier but the access is easy and there is ample parking. Not to be missed. Book a table now
Been here a few times and the food is top notch. Have had the pasta and veal as well as the pizza and all very good - but with the good food, the quantity isn't a lot and the price is a little steep. be careful with the menu and ask questions as you might expect that side salad is included but it may not be and you'll get a $9 charge (for a very small salad) added to your bill. French menu but servers pretty happy to explain in English.
Undoubtedly the best Italian restaurant around : fresh, homemade pasta, high quality meat cooked to perfection, full flavoured pizza in a variety of wonderful combinations featuring the best ingredients one expects from Italian cuisine. Plus a wine list featuring a good selection of Italian reds. We enjoyed it so much, we returned the following evening for another perfect dinner.
It is with pleasure that we return there 3 to 4 times a year, whether it is for the friendly staff (always the same for more than 5 years) and the quality of the meals. Lately I opted for the veal liver on the table d'hôte, a pure delight and not to mention the squid as a starter (gigantic and tasty plate). It's a staple for a simple, tasty meal at a reasonable price.
We visited for a family gathering and the service was excellent and the food excellent. Had the veal with lemon and you can tell all fresh ingredients were used. The seafood pasta was very good loaded with fresh seafood. The homemade bread was addictive! Book a table now
Good food, varied menu, personalized and fairly quick service. The pizzas are very good. Nice atmosphere in general.
