The crew in Halifax is so welcoming and the food is absolutely heavenly! The kitchen staff works hard in front of that hot, hot oven and the results of their labour are the most delicious treats! My favourite menu item is the affogato; choose vanilla or chocolate gelato and get a shot of Illy espresso poured over it right at your table, so delicious! My partner especially loved the Stephanie pizza; caramelized pears, balsamic drizzle, goat cheese... yum! Ordered Bruschetta,tomatoes where not ripe and where tasteless. This is surprising as tomatoes are. Ow in season. Pizza was very good though,didn't ask me how my meal was and has to slow someone down to get a glass of wine.
We've been back 3 times & the pizzas are amazing. Well worth a visit & I'd highly recommend it. We stayed at the Westin Nova Scotian & it's a short walk from there & close to the waterfront.
We stopped in tonite (Friday) and ate out on the patio. Our server, Doris was Great! She made 2 amazing pizza suggestions and they were both Awesome! Thin Crust Pizza was Awesome!
