with the bike tour on the mainradweg with my family we reached miltenberg at midday. we sat outside and enjoyed a very tasty Italian lunch on the piazza solona. we asked for directions to the point of view to see a bend in the main river. the owner gave us. a guide to the old town (old town) and gave our route. she was pleased that we left our bikes in the restaurant while we explore miltenberg. on our return we were given water bottles for our journey. perfect for a very hot day. we went to a Sunday, so it was busy, but we didn't have to wait long for a table outside with the flowing river on one side and a look at the miltenberg burg on the other! a typical European experience! service was something. slow, but we have attributed this to the heavy occupancy and a beautiful day! the wine and the food are medium price and very good. we had a seafood pasta dish that was very delicious! we had a vegan with us who was delighted with the vegetarian and vegans.
