my incident is something back, but it remains unforgettable for me. at the last football world championship there was a offer at all games of Euro-Manships a pizza only half. at the game of england I still had to pay the full price, as the service and the cook claimed that england did not in the eu. Yesterday I've visited my parents for the first time in their new home town Luneburg. We decided to have our lunch in Piccanti. It's a lovely place with modern decoration, friendly staff and good basic food. With basic I mean pizza, burger and unpretentious salads...nothing...fancy, no elegant presentation, but just good tasting food. I personally found the portion sizes the quality of food with it's competitive prices refreshing. But I'm from London... I have no idea how the experience would have been if I'd been purely English speaking as I could communicate in German with the staff...I'm German. Luneburg is a rather small town and I suspect that the English may be there, but very broken....
Although we were very often in Lüneburg, we had never visited this restaurant. The reason for this was probably the location at the place heavily frequented by tourists on the sand. The tables on the restaurant's terrace were almost always occupied. At our last visit to Lüneburg, we have arrived at the Piccanti and were positively surprised. The ordered foods were all good, there was nothing to expose. The service was ok, the waiting time for the food was still within the framework. The Piccanti has given us a very positive impression.

The restaurant was almost empty tables in use with all but us and one other not yet eating), still we waited far too long until the waitress arrived at our table. Coffee and cake was served rather quickly but we almost had given up...on the pancakes, which arrived after all had finished their cakes and coffees. Tiramisu was small in size but rather expensive. Pancakes were thin like a Crêpe and cool and also too expensive. Coffee and hot chocolate were ok. Not impressed by the service or food. Will not come back.
As I said we have returned to this restaurant and this time the experience was not very good. My food and the food for shareing was delivered very quick but the rest of the people had to wait, I would say too much. We we...finished I had to look for the weiter to order the bill after wait for seeing staff close to our table. We ordered cola zero and they had it, of course but that size is not acceptable for a restaurant. Conclusion, we won't back, sorry.
although the restaurant was very full of outside and inside, we immediately offered a table. all staff are very friendly and attentive. our pizzas were beautifully chessed, but would have worn a little more. very pleasant stay, thank you.
