I rarely dine outside and when I don't feel like cooking, this place offers some great taste and menu selection.If you want meatless stuff, you have many choices. I typically go for the falafel roll. However, the flavors do vary depending on who is making your meals. It can vary from superb to above average. The staff member seemed inexperienced. He was wearing one glove while handling my food with his bare hand. This was my first visit, and it will definitely be my last. The worst part was when I pointed this out to him; he just waved his gloved hand at me, treating me like I was foolish. I really disliked this experience and am worried about potentially getting sick from it. Another staff member was preparing salads in large batches and tossing everything into blue buckets that looked like paint buckets. Everything appeared unclean. In my opinion, I would strongly advise against going there.
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but I hadn't visited in a while. I went there tonight, and to be honest, it was disappointing. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and found the pita to be hard, and the baklava was not tasty. Everything was served lukewarm. This was the worst meal I've had in quite some time. I can't help but wonder if they’ve changed owners or chefs because something seems seriously off. I definitely won't be returning anytime soon—actually, I don’t plan on going back at all.

We ordered falafel roll ups and were extremely disappointed. The wraps were dry, no sauce inside, pita bread was very hard, and filling had little flavor. Portion was small as well very flat and unlike other falafel wraps you receive at other restaurants.Highly recommend offering sauces on the side to customers, since it isn’t included in the wrap, and including more flavorful filling.
This restaurant, every time I've been round, is always just one guy making the orders, but the food is some of the better halal shwarma places I've been to. Definitely if you're in the Somerville/Medford area, it's the best, but give the guy a little extra time.Food: 5/5
