We stayed the night here in the hotel... before our ferry trip home UK.... after traveling from home Portugal for the last week, it was our last nights sleep on solid ground.... before the rocky room on the high seas.... looking for dinner we checked the best restaurant suggestions on trip advisor but found it hard to locate La Vinotecs... #2 at the time of looking.... when it got to 8:45 after a few cross words about walking up down the road it should have been on... we abandoned the idea of spending up on recommendations had our meal in the hotel cafe.... I had baby lamb chops the boss had a tuna omelet.... it was 10% less to pay as guests of the hotel... the food was good... my lamb chops...
Paseando por la zona decidimos entrar. Lo mejor fue la comida, lo peor parte del servicio. Preguntamos al camarero por que eran las Jijas, que aparecían en dos platos y su respuesta fue que no lo sabía, que nosotros sabríamos ya que sería algo típico español. Frente a esa respuesta, sacamos el teléfono y buscamos y decidimos pedirlo y mientras él esperando, con cara de me estáis haciendo perder el tiempo. Al llevarse la comanda pensamos que habíamos pedido mucho y anulamos uno de los platos ¡fue a los 10 segundos! y lo acabaron sacando. My wife and I went with relatives to Cafeteria Picos de Europa for a quick dinner. This place has been in bussiness for over 50 years and it is well known amongst the locals. We ordered ensalada mixta and burgers. Both the food and the service were good and the price was reasonable.
We had dinner here last Friday evening and the service was excellent, very friendly and efficient. The Cantabrian steak is first class!The atmosphere is very relaxed and the prices are good. Quite obviously a lot of local people eat here which is always a good sign.

Riquísimo, sandwich, picos!!! Estuvimos tomando unos sandwich en cafetería picos de Europa Hotel Santander estaban muy ricos jugosos, una atención excelente en pleno centro de la ciudad., Muy recomendable
Muy buena relación calidad/precio, perfecto para ver partidos porque tienen muchas pantallas. Buen servicio y mucha variedad de comida: Desde una hamburguesa a una merluza con patatas panaderas.
