Picture is a low key restaurant in Fitzrovia, a short stroll from the manic Oxford Circus. The interior is quite basic with wooden tables and chairs which remind me of being back in school canteens. The main focus here is clearly the food and the most popular attraction is the tasting menu with aperitif for a very reasonable price of £35. I don’t think any other tables ordered off the a la carte from what I saw which runs alongside the 6 course tasting menu.
A great restaurant not too far from Great Portland Street station. We went for a 6 course tasting menu, which included gazpacho, tender stem broccoli, roasted peppers and chickpeas, sea bream with courgette and fennel, pork cheek with a watermelon salad, 28 day aged beef and a chocolate mousse served with strawberries and an oatmeal biscuit.
My wife and I frequent the restaurant and have always enjoyed it, so I decided to take an old friend and a possible business partner. Did not disappoint. Highly recommended.
