Yesterday, my husband went to pick up our take out order for dinner of 2 pizzas and a garlic bread. When he walked in, the staff assumed he was a Skip the dishes employee just because he is of South Asian descent. I found this to be very racist and disrespectful for them to just assume that. They further went on to ask him to give his Skip number for the order when my husband specified he is just here to pick up a take out order they did not apologize. It is absolutely absurd and disappointing for such a big restaurant to present themselves like this. Our go to place in Barrie for good pizza! Close to the lake with nice views, their offer delicious pizza’s cooked perfectly in their wood fired oven. There’s vegetarian options available as well. Walked in couldn't even smell wood burning!!! Everything we ordered definitely didn't ever see a smoke oven! When we asked they told us it is smoked, but we've had wood fire oven smoke pizza and wings before, they definitely tasted different! It tasted more like liquid smoke! We won't be back! Market priced for Barrie. Excellent thin crust pizza, arrived hot out of oven. One surprise? Asked for some Parmesan cheese, didn 't notice until Bill arrived, was charged $3 for a tiny tub! Other places, say pizza hut, waitress comes over and asks if you want some on your 'za for free. A tiny bit pricy but the pizza is good! I ordered for a pick up and it was peppered quite fast. No complaints about the quality of food. If you are going to Berrie, best place to eat pizza. Smokey wood fire pizza is too good. Location, atmosphere and services are excellent. Try in house beer as well.
