If I could give 0 Star Rating I would. Avoid this place. From the food to service, it was a terrible experience. The food was mediocre at best. I have had better "neapolitan" style pizza elsewhere. The pizzas were greasy with little flavour. The service was the worst I've ever had. I was with a group of 8 ladies, and were looking forward to trying this pizza joint out. We made a reservation prior to our arrival. Our party was divided between two tables, when we asked to be moved to a larger table so we could be together we were told a group was coming shortly. The party never came, we were never relocated. The waitress (Brianne) was incredibly rude right away. She was snarky, had a bad attit...
Just our luck, we went to Pieza during the annual peach festival. I had the special goat cheese, arugula, peach pizza. It was the perfect combination, and the crust was to die for!! Peeking around at what the other customers had ordered, it all looked delicious!! My husband had a salad and thoroughly enjoyed that as well...though he would have liked a main course salad (lo carbs) but none are offered on the menu...perhaps something to add!! I highly recommend this spot that is around the corner from the main drag!! Seems perfect for kids as well!
A great little place we just stumbled upon while walking around. We knew of the usual places but we were looking for something new and refreshing; Pieza's didn't disappoint. It was very simplistic and basic in its decor but surprisingly quiet given the openness of the main dining area. We could see the brand new pizza oven from our table. The food was delicious but I will admit a little pricey but still a great place.
We arrived just before closing and were pleased that the restaurant was happy to still serve us. We were a party of 6 and shared 5 pizzas between us which was plenty for medium appetites. The pizzas arrived quickly and were all very tasty, great bases. Having sampled them all my favorite was the Californian dream: tomato base, sundried tomatoes, artichokes and olives. Book a table now
If you want a good authentic pizza to eat in this small town, this is it. The pizza is baked in a wood fired oven. I got a margherita pizza. It was tasty. The sauce is crushed San Marzano tomatoes with no seasonings with fresh mozzarella. Drawback: no refills on soda or tea. It is a small establishment with plenty of decor.
Looking for authentic wood oven pizza? This is the place. Friendly service and a great place to try an Italian cocktail like Negroni or Spritz. We enjoyed the arugula salad and the pizza called La Sofia. Ended our lunch with espresso and homemade canoli. Highly recommend!!
This is a cozy little place, very nicely appointed with friendly servers and outstanding pizza. They have organic wine, lovely salad, and pizzas that are fired in an old, authentic oven from Napoli. Good idea to get a reservation. It is popular, for good reason.
This is our second visit, it is intimate, delicious and authentic Italian pizza! Shared an order of olives, a tomato and cheese salad and a pizza as well as savored a local Oust beer, would highly recommend this place!!! Book a table now
I ate with my family in this pizzeria! The place is beautiful in a typical house! The staff were very kind! The pizza was good, the sauce was not cooked properly! But overall I would recommend it!
