"Great, relaxing set up in the sun. Outdoor couches, seats covered with fur, nice ambiance and music. If you want a cheaper fare, try the hot dig kiosk next door where there are also seats in the sun."

Ski in and ski out, just next to the Courchevel Altiport (mini airport) this place is a gem for morning coffee/vin chaud/ hot chocolate (with cream) or for lunch al fresco on a sunny day. We stopped for lunch, 8 of us having a range from steak, omelette, tarteflette and fresh pasta. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Desserts are on display and look amazing from huge raspberry or blueberry tarts or lemon meringue. Our bill came to just over €300 (around €40 each) for main courses, a drink, coffee and 1 dessert to share. We had a lovely relaxing time and enjoyed watching the propeller aircraft coming and going, whilst sitting outside in the sunshine, being surrounded by snowy mountain...

Ask for a Cuillaire Suisse when you next go here - a glass of hot milk with a chocolate lollipop will be given to you which you then stir into the milk! Absolutely delicious! Also worth stopping for off the Pralong Piste is their lemon meringue pie - one slice was enough for 4 of us! This restaurant has great views of the small airport (even from the loos!). Good food, not too expensive, good service - highly recommended!

Pilatus is located next to the Altiport. The have a large patio and nice restaurant. The food is excellent and menu is plentifull. The tartar is excellent (add a bit of tabasca and Worchester), lamb shack is superb. Omelettes were plentifull (they were french style "rear" - you might want to ask for well done). And desearts are great.

Friendly, prompt service in a very nice restaurant with a view of the mountain and the airport. Menu isn't hugely extensive but the omelette and the menu du jour- rabbit were both excellent. Nice selection of wines and beers. Will almost certainly be back.
