We were very happy with our visit here. Very good food, good sized portions. $20 a person got you a burger and a shake or regular juice which I think is ok value given the size overall of the portions, the juice wasn't stingy. They were very busy and said wait would be 20 30 minutes. Drinks came reasonably promptly, 3 5 minutes or less I wasn't timing and food came in quick succession short of the said 20 minutes I think, all meals came one after the other so no one was left hanging. No chips on the menubut I must say retrospectively I couldn't have squeezed them in too so lucky they didn't have any. Great burgers/wraps and an array of drinks on offer. I ordered a banan gudgeon, but it came clearly as a milkshake – just as the “milchshake” ordered my partner. the disappointment with me was essentially a large cup of milk, while normally smoothing to focus on the fruit component (at least caffes that know how to do) I asked the personal if my order had perhaps been erroneous for a milkshake, but they said off and just went away. burgers were also below average. two stars but because the vanilla hat of my partner was decent.
I was not a big fan of dinner at Pilgrims in Milton. It wasn’t an exciting menu but maybe I ordered the wrong dishes. The vegan nachos, burrito and burrito bowl lacked flavour. I didn’t order any dessert but it may be nice. Check out my blog post [hidden link]
I tried the vegan pie and it was delicious, hearty, and satisfying. It had chunks of mushrooms, sweet potato mash on top, and pumpkin seeds. I enjoyed it so much that I ate it too quickly to take a photo, sorry!
