I stopped here just for fuel and then had to turn around to weigh my truck. While I understand drivers need to rest, parking right behind the fuel pumps shouldn’t be allowed. With two trucks lined up for fuel, having someone park there to sleep blocks the flow of trucks trying to reach the scale. There were plenty of other spots available, so there’s no reason to block the traffic lane. Although this Pilot is on the smaller side, that’s no excuse for causing traffic congestion. The staff was friendly, and both the restrooms and store were clean. Please enforce proper parking to prevent drivers from losing time on their hours. We arrived before 5 PM, so visibility wasn’t an issue.
The semi-truck parking area is uncomfortably small, and I doubt there are truly 65 spots available. The lighting is terrible, making visibility nearly impossible. Tonight, we had an accident because the lot is too cramped for trucks to maneuver safely; another truck’s tractor collided with ours. While managing truck speeds here is challenging, adding a speed bump at that corner could help. Additionally, both the property and the store are in poor condition. The bathrooms don’t seem to be cleaned properly, even after staff claim they have been serviced. Pilot really needs to make some improvements!
The showers are good, but the parking space count is misleading. The app claims there are 65 spaces available, but there are actually no more than 25, with 16 of those being reserved. Please update the website with accurate information so that truckers can better plan their trips.
The parking area is rather cramped, and during my visit, five trucks were waiting for about 15 minutes as one tried to park. However, the staff is very friendly, there's a Subway nearby, and the view of the fuel pumps is quite pleasant.
