Over the past five years, Pinang Malaysian has become like a second home to me, offering an incredible journey into authentic Chinese cuisine with every visit. The owner and the greeter, both fluent in Chinese, have been instrumental in making my dining experiences truly memorable. Their genuine conversations have enriched my understanding of Chinese culture and offered fascinating insights into the restaurant industry. A standout aspect of my time at Pinang Malaysian has been the owner's generous sharing of financial knowledge. I learned about the critical role of human capital in running a successful restaurant, especially after discovering that the chef’s salary alone is $5,000 per month...

This is a lovely Malaysian Restaurant probably of the best in Queens. The interior design isn?t too lively but the colors are bright enough to take good pictures. Parking isn?t really a problem. There?s plenty of parking everywhere around Queens Blvd andAustin St. If you don?t need meat this restaurant has a perfect vegetarian menu. The prices are great and the portions are goodenough to share. This restaurant probably has the best customer service in Forest Hills. All the waiters and waitresses areattentive and friendly. You don?t need to make reservations or wait at all to get a table. One of my favorite things about thisrestaurant besides the food is the environment. I don?t have too many...

I want to say the service was friendly and attentive. However the food is very average. My fish in Belacan sauce tasted dry. The cup of Tom Yum soup I received had a few pieces of Onion and peppers in it and nothing else. Didn't even get one piece of shrimp. Also ordered the Roti Canai which came with very little dipping sauce. When I asked for a little more they said it would cost an additional $2.50 and the waiter told me that sauce wasn't free. Mind you Im already paying for this appetizer so I wouldn't really getting anything free. Ive never heard of such thing as at any other Malay restaurant Ive been to. It just seems they are trying to give you as little value as possible with your me...

Pinang Malaysian is a fantastic Malaysian and Thai restaurant with plenty of seating available. They offer a wide variety of choices for both vegetarians and meat-eaters. We tried the Malaysian noodles and rice, and both dishes were delicious. The desserts were equally enjoyable. Considering the quality and portion sizes, the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend visiting this place. Book a table now

What a lovely little restaurant with nice staff! The Malaysian ice tea and crispy squid were delicious!!! The noodles were good too, but I had thought they were crispy pan-fried noodles, so I was a little confused at first. Still decent though!

I've been a loyal customer over a decade. They have really good lunch special and staffs are super friendly. Prawn mee, Curry mee, Singapore noodles, salt and pepper pork, and fried eggplants are my go-to. Long live Pinang!

Not bad but a little disappointing for Malaysian food. Char keuh teow wasn’t flavored properly, tasted more like a variation of Thai pad see ew. Hainan Chicken was decent though. Coconut rice was a little dry Book a table now

An absolute hidden gem. Dont let the dingy entrance scare you, the food is fresh, authentic, and amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection and some of the best Thai and Malaysian dishes we’ve had.
