I and my family have visited and loved this establishment for many years. It 's where I would always take guests. I am not sure what has changed, but I have never felt so unwelcomed in a restaurant as I did last night with all of my fellow coworkers. Wait staff was overwhelmed which was totally understandable, but their approach to handling it was rude, ugly, aggressive, and unprofessional. Friends were told that the dining tables were for customers as they seemingly forgot that that 's what we were...customers wanting to spend a lot of money there. Never have I been somewhere where such good, decent people were reprimanded by wait staff like we were 5 year olds. I am writing this review not...
So we went to Pineapple Joe's on a weeknight about 630. The place was moderately packed and the atmosphere was incredible! All the collectibles on the walls and ceiling were a great touch. It was bustling but not too much, the wait staff got to us straight away and got our drinks going and food was ordered shortly after. The food and drinks were good, just short of great and the price was reasonable. All in all it was an excellent experience that I would recommend to everyone.
The food is good, there are pool tables and a bar and live music, but be aware, the service is about as fast an an iceberg. From the time of arrival, it took 30-40 minutes to eat. Not a work lunch or in-and-out spot. The fried shrimp and coleslaw was excellent.
Meal was excellent, Service was very good and prices for fish reasonable. Restaurant is small inside with limited amount of tables. Only issue was our Server failure to let us know the band was going to start and our table was next to their setup.
