A friend and I came in for a Christmastime tea along with my oldest, who's 7. When we arrived we found parking in the back of the building (heads up for those who struggle to find street parking during the weekend). The tea room was full and there was a birthday party in the front room. We decided to try the Majesty tea (which includes a tasty kale salad) and a child's tea as well. My daughter was tickled by the lemonade being served in a small teapot just for her. Next, we were served a salad with a homemade sweet and tangy vinaigrette, and it was simply amazing! After that, a stunning tray of delights arrived—a three-tiered display filled with sandwiches, tarts, scones, fruits, and muffins, all perfectly paired with our selection of teas. Wow! You really need to experience this place! Give it a try—it's in a lovely, quiet location, and the staff is incredibly sweet and friendly.
The tea was fantastic, and the selection of finger foods varied from good to excellent. The atmosphere was delightful. I visited for a girls' day out with my 3-year-old daughter and my 4-month-old baby, and I found the menu and staff to be very accommodating for children. While it wasn't an especially filling meal, I left satisfied.
What a wonderful spot for afternoon tea! I took my mom, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Everything we had was fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious. They have a great variety of teas, and the atmosphere is lovely and cozy. The staff were very friendly as well.
