We got to Potsdam after a long drive in the rain from Amsterdam. Our hotel's owner recommended Ristorante Pino when we asked about Italian. Pino is on a quiet, residential street with the usual limited parking but we lucked out and found a spot right...in front. We were early, and there was only one other couple inside. The restaurant serves from to Monday thru Saturday. We quickly determined that they only had a German menu and the one waiter who had any English was very limited. We have little German but we made out the handwritten menu on the portable blackboard and ordered. First came a complimentary appetizer of brucetta, high quality olive oil and warm bread slices plus a bowl of green...
I went to this place on recommendation of a friend. Had duck liver with asparagus as starter. The liver was cooked almost to perfection: soft and succulent. Main course was baby pork, and I liked the softness again. Surprisingly there was no bad smell, even...though it was cooked medium rare. The house wine was also excellent quality. The service and atmosphere were also very nice. Two people. One had starter and main. The other had main course only. house wine. One more glass of wine and espresso. euros before tip.
Zunächst einmal die Bedienung , super freundlich hat die Antipasti und das Menue erklärt, hat sich unheimlich um alle Gäste gekümmert. Wir hatten Antipasti, z.B. Zucchiniblüten toll auf dem Teller präsentiert und geschmacklich einwandfrei. Als Hauptspeise 1x Thunfisch toll gebacken so wie er sein muß mit kleiner leckere Beilage. Meine Frau hatte Wolfbarsch ebenfalls einwandfrei mit tollem Geschmack. Dazu einen offenen Wein aus Sizilien und zum Abschluß eine Grappa Barolo und cafe. Es war einfach toll.

The food was presented on a black board in front of our table and we had the necessary time...to read, discuss and decide. The Italian wine list offered wine in all price ranges. Staff was professional and friendly. The locals know this restaurant, so we were happy that we had a table reservation for our Wednesday visit.

Two good friends of ours, who live in Potsdam, took us to Pino's after a day of walking around the Sanssouci Park and Palaces. The restaurant is quite near the Park. The staff is super nice and friendly and the food is simply awesome. The...specialty of the house appears to be a pasta dish that is made in a large cheese wheel and finished off with grated truffles, your choice of white or black. There is also a nice selection of wines from Southern Italy.
Good dinner with friends, very nice food,I had good first course with cocquilles and main with excellent steak. Good wines, efficient staff and friendly chef. Restaurant is close to center, rather small with good atmosphere. Should be much higher on the list. Not really cheap,...but good value.
Recommended by a local and there were no surprises. Delightful location on a residential street near Brandenburg area. Prices were way below the presentation and food preparation. The staff was fully engaged and catered to our every wish. Recommend the Miso Salad.
