this restaurant is a jewel! the quality of eating and the extensive menu of an amazing selection of pintxos, to a delicious goat cheese ensalada, to a perfectly seasoned sirloin steak with kartoffeln padron paprika up to the grilled mushrooms with foie gras were all excellent! the wine list is extensive and includes all wine-growing regions spaniens and is of good value. the restaurant was lively (it is popular, and now we know why and the service solid. we will definitely come back! thanks pintxo kalea!
Pintxo Kalea would probably deserve a better rating if not for their ambiance and unwillingness to even have a heated restaurant in the middle of winter. Food was good and tasty. But any food served warm or hot would turn cold so fast due to freezing temperatures inside the restaurant. We would eventually visit them during the summer season and try their other dishes. To sum it up, better wait for the warm weather when visiting this restaurant.
