"it takes 2 away to get to the pinzgauer hatte. a rather steeper way for experienced skiers and a simple way. beautiful dishes! the house made lasagna is delicious. after lunch/your break a roller takes it for a ride to...back to the kettingalm railway. the children have loved it absolutely! great experience."

Just to the left of Blue 9a, you ski down a side track to the hutte. (Tip: take your skis up to the hutte so that you can ski down to the ‘bus stop’ on your way back) There 's a lovely decking area in front...of the restaurant with a pretty view of the valley. There are 2 large seating areas, one to the left and one to the right of the main entrance. We managed to find a space in the left hand side. Traditionally decorated there is old ski paraphernalia on the ceilings. Service was quick and the food good. The usual generous portions. I went for the baked potato with leeks and sour cream delicious, but couldn 't finish it all.my friends tried the garlic soup, Weiner schnitzel and the spatzl....

we booked on the morning for lunch on the same day for 7 people at 1.30 3 of our group by 1.00 clock and said that our table was given away. the rest of us came around 1.25 (two of the party. were very rudely spoken when they turned off the piste on the way to the pinzgauer. none of our party was offered to drink something, given a menu, or even recognized. we were ignored for the next half hour. then a waiter spoke with a father and child at the table next to us, in German. they told them it was only suppe and hühnernuggets left. we were still ignored. the vater kindly told us that this was all available. we cut our losses. managed to get back to the second and third snowmobile rides to the...

one day had lunch here during a ski tour in februar 2020 and it was nice to get away from the masses on the main mountain. the place was very busy when we went (mid-day) but we managed to get a table (prepared...to share) the prices are cheaper than the most important mountain restaurants and the quality good and the skidoo trail was a novelty, although they can wait a little during the busy times. as someone else mentioned, they take their skis to the restaurant to save a walk back to the skidoo pick-up point. overall a trip would recommend there.

the pinzgauer hatte is a great place for her lunch break on a long ski day. they look forward to cozy interior and exterior seats with view. Despite the place full, the waiters were always friendly and make them welcome. everything we tried. was excellent. for dessert are the apfelstrudel and imperial shards particularly remarkable. everything in everything, highly recommended!
