The Pioneer is the perfect pit stop when exploring Virginia City and a must if you stay overnight. Stiff drinks and great people on both sides of the bar. A plus, you need to run into a Brewery Follies Player or two or five.
I'd rather hang on the dump, the bartender has serious personal problems and should really watch her sound. All in all you just go to Ennis and spend your money it is not a broke back mountain knocked off.
Big old historical bar. Ask for the hindible! Wonderful bartenders and great cocktails!
