I really really really REALLY wanted to love this place. This has been on my list, and recommended by so many of my friends. I ordered a Chashu Rice, BC Shrimp H/R, and the Hawaiian Poke combo. Total $55. It was my first time, and there was no interaction with the staff because you order on a tablet. I wish it was specified that there's tomatoes in the Hawaiian Poke because I usually don't touch tomato at all. The quality of everything is really good, but I don't know why my poke was so slick and BLAND. There was some type of oil as the sauce, I know salmon is fatty already, but this on top was just too much. And just SO much tomatoes. There was no flavor in the sauce, I went home and grabbe...

I ordered two poke bowls, totaling around $45. Overall, my experience was fairly average; the food was decent, but I found the portion sizes a bit on the small side for the price. I had chosen to visit Pisces Poke Ramen after hearing it referred to as a hidden gem. It does occupy a cozy little spot in a small plaza, enhancing its appeal as a tucked-away treasure. Despite my hopes for an extraordinary experience, I must admit that nothing particularly stood out that would compel me to return. I don’t intend to undermine the restaurant or discourage others from trying it. Everyone has different tastes, and it’s possible that others may find joy in this unique establishment. I still recommend...
Pisces Poke and Ramen is a delightful find tucked away in a strip mall in El Sereno. Having savored poke all over Hawaii, I can confidently say that the poke here is on par with, if not better than, what I've experienced in Oahu, Kauai, or Maui. The flavors are authentic and spot-on, providing the quality you expect from a top-tier poke shop. With its reasonable prices and casual vibe, it's an excellent option for a weekday lunch if you’re in the area. It’s amazing to discover such outstanding poke in such an unpretentious location. I highly recommend visiting Pisces Poke and Ramen—you definitely won’t be disappointed!
Awesome poke, super flavorful and fresh! I love the setup of the plate, the sides compliment the fish and rice perfectly. I have had several delicious meals from this place, but didn't rate it a 5 because one time when I ordered towards the end of the day, my poke wasn't very flavorful and honestly just wasn't good. It tasted like it barely had any seasoning which I know is not how it usually tastes, since it's normally phenomenal! At the pricepoint, I'd definitely want that flavorful plate I usually get. Still fully recommend this place and will be back soon! Book a table now
The service here is excellent—fast and efficient. You place your order on a screen, pay right there, and the only time you interact with the staff is if you choose to. Your food is delivered promptly by the friendly person who made it. The menu is straightforward and limited, which probably helps maintain the impeccable consistency in your order. This place feels like Howlin' Ray's for poke, but without the long lines... at least for now.
The food was okay, nothing really bad but not that good either. I would go here if you like Hawaiian style poke but it's not a first or second choice for me. The service was good although all the tables were dirty. Overall I would not go here unless you are in a time pinch and this is the closest poke place.
The food took a bit longer to prepare since there were only three staff members on duty. However, they were very accommodating and generously provided some extras, such as a complimentary drink and ice cream, to make up for the delay. Overall, the food was excellent: 5 out of 5.
The best ramen and poke I've ever had. The owner Joshua and chef Melissa made sure to take care of us. 100/10 recommend Book a table now
