a half-morning break at pixel is worth some of their valuable time. coffee is wonderful and served both quickly and not on the saucer spilt, which today is far too often in perth. the generous part of the banan bread is delicious and served with a beautiful lemon that cures to rival what I had before. sadly, the butter component I feel was stored in an arctic freeze cabinet before it was served and spoiled an otherwise beautiful dish pixel has decor to relax them at any time of day. decorated in a light blue, think tiffany or even escape a blue. the artwork on the walls is from local artists, not to my taste, but still supplemented and available for sale my only output on the day was the...r...
pixel is a caffe that sits on oxford street about halfway away, away from the main leederville hubbub and near the bourke street. there are tables inside and outside, but not many of them. we started to sit on the coffee bar and move on to a table when you were available. the menu is very diverse with healthy dishes, chia pudding and brunch options and pixel are famous for their series of milk. if they do not drink milk, they have quite any other option they might need. I chose the banan smoothie with kokosmilch, a nice thick banana honey-smooth with zimt – absolutely delicious.
A bit too hipster for my liking: think edible flowers on your smashed avo and really average service. I asked for a small takeaway and was told that small is only for children. I pointed to one of two sizes on the counter 8oz and 12oz and asked “can I have that one?” (being the 8oz) and the lazy response I got was “not unless you’re a child”. Not cool and I will unlikely be returning.
Came here for a late breakfast- purchased the poached chicken nourish bowl and a plate of side dishes. The nourish bowl was okay. It was full of greens as it said in menu but instead of broccoli etc as we pictured it was mainly raw spinach leaves. The avocado was very hard also on the side dishes plate which was disappointing.

Came here with my family for a coffee and piece of cake. We sat outside on the cute chairs. Service was very friendly and prompt. Nice coffee. We shared a slice of the chocolate and rose water cake, it was tasty. Would return. Reasonably priced too.
bright and welcoming environment with friendly staff and reasonable coffee. snacks in the offer also look decent. if they're after a casual morning or lunch, they should take a shot.
Yummy food! I also ordered a coco smoothie which was pretty good. However the wait is pretty ridiculous. Waited about 30+ minutes for food When it wasn’t even busy. Yum food though.
I still dream of the food here sometimes. Coffee is so good! Loved the chocolate cake with raspberry chia filling and rosemary buttercream. Staff were lovely! Perfect brunch spot.

my daughter and I went to this caffe yesterday. the interior design is pleasant and the coffee was delicious. I am happy to recommend this place.
