I ordered takeout from this restaurant, hoping for high-quality pizza since it’s an Italian establishment rather than a low-cost takeaway. Unfortunately, I was let down by the £15, 11-inch pizza I received. The dough was undercooked and soggy, and the fresh tomatoes on top were raw, which contributed to the overall sogginess of the pizza. The delivery was prompt, but the driver didn't bother to knock on my door; instead, he insisted that I meet him outside. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I requested a refund and was asked to provide photos of the pizza, but I haven't received any feedback since. I would have been better off buying a pizza from Aldi, which would have been tastier...
We recently had a family dinner at Xscape with a group of seven and spent £160. When our pizzas were served, the waitress simply walked away without offering any sauces, oils, or parmesan, and didn’t even check if we wanted any. This felt quite discourteous. We brought it up with the manager, who seemed taken aback by our comments, but still we were not offered any parmesan—only some chili oil that we had to fetch ourselves from the counter. We have decided to delete the Pizza Express app and won't be returning to this chain. With so many other dining options available, we prefer to go somewhere that meets at least basic service standards.
Got a voucher from work so opted for Pizza Express. My husband and I had a three course meal. didn't enjoy my starter of prawn as the prawns were a bit smaill and tough and one still had the poo line in it. However the mains (pizzas) and puddings were lovely and we had excellent service provided by Lee.
During a reunion with friends and family, we dined at the Castleford location of the restaurant. Mel was our server, and she went out of her way to accommodate my dietary needs as a diabetic. Her friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. Thank you, Mel! We will definitely be back.

My friend and I live 80 miles apart and meet up approx. 3 times a year. We always use Pizza Express for our meal. We met Lee on our latest visit and really appreciated his friendly, but professional approach whilst dealing with our quite specific dietary needs. Thank you Lee.
Excellent service from Lee. We return here time after time and have not been disappointed yet. First time we met Lee we told him we were limited for time. He made sure we were served quickly and we were out within an hour! Fabulous .
Arrived unbooked. Very friendly and got in after 20 mins on a early Friday evening. Looked after so well by Lee. Very helpful on ordering and his happy manner made our meal a great experience. Thank you.
