Pizza Express - Table reservation

Very quiet restaurant, not busy at all. Two ladies gave their order approx 2 mins before us Our starter arrived a long time after theirs, just as they had their pizza main. They finished their mains and after the normal time ordered their desserts. We...then waited and waited and waited some more before asking the waitress where our pizzas were. She didn’t really say anything but went over to the kitchen and said we had asked where our pizzas were. The two cooks didn’t seem to know anything and carried in cooking pizzas fir boxes and take outs. She didn’t come back and say anything. My husband then got up and asked her in front if who we assume was the manager where the pizzas were and what...

frightening service in a half empty restaurant. it seems to personalize by children who never enter into eye contact or even consider customers. many hang around and talk together. a decent older guy who was professional. a customer near me asked for water. but got soda. Surely even the children who do here as if they work here. pizza, when it finally came, was okay, but had much better. first and final last visit

Table of 8 booked to celebrate my two kids Birthdays. Nothing was to much trouble, pizzas beautifully presented and cooked. They even put a lovely Happy Birthday banner up on the seat/bench which was a lovely surprise and were very accommodating with us bringing our...cake. Thanks to the team at Dorch for making it a special one. Be back soon.

the first time we came here, it was nice and the pizza was good. but had to wait a bit, which felt a little long. friendly staff also

Great service and the manager John (I think) was great. Pizza was lovely. Thank you. Will visit again if in town.
