Everytime we visit Ilkley we eat here at Pizza Express, we have been coming since 2019 and even through lockdown when we were able and it still remains my favourite Pizza Express in the UK. Its a great Setting, service good, very friendly staff and Francois always helpful and friendly to chat to, much appreciated his assistance with the new APP scheme they have going as that was all new. The Pizzas are great we always have the same, why change when its so good, so the Romana Pizza, thin and crispy, that stone fire flame look and flavour, I have Pollo Forza and my husband the Diavolo with all the chilli 's, Perfectly delicious, fills you up every time, pushing the last bit in as far too tasty...
Came to this restaurant for lunch having been to the theatre across the road, we hadn’t booked but the server seated us straight away, he was really friendly and chatty and great with our daughter. The food came without much of a wait and was very authentic and really tasty. Nice portion sizes for children too another waiter brought our daughter some extra tomato base sauce to dip her pizza into and the staff came to check all our meals were alright. Our first time at this chain so it was a really nice experience would definitely go again.
Good to see lots of new dishes on the menu. Really enjoyed the new spicy dough balls. The calamari is always tasty and the new king prawns starter was full of tomatoes and plenty of prawns. We sat outside but some of the seats are hard wood. Before the pandemic they used to have a soft cushion pad. Unfortunately when I asked I was told they had been disposed of due to Covid. Any chance they can be bought back please as I find them really uncomfortable without.
We had a lovely time at Pizza Express in Ilkley on Saturday! The restaurant was spotless with excellent service It was reasonably busy but the food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious! I normally have the same pizza each time I visit (creature of habit! and I genuinely think it was the best tasting one I've ever had! It was cooked to perfection! Thanks for a great meal

After spending the afternoon on Ilkley Moor, we arrived at Pizza Express feeling cold and hungry. We were seated promptly and were happy to find a cozy log fire burning. The service was fast and our pizzas were delicious, especially the prawn pizza which we highly recommend. The staff was friendly and helpful, the toilets were clean, and overall we had a very positive experience.

After our recent stay in Yorkshire, we stopped at Pizza Express on our way home. The waiter was friendly and polite, the food lived up to the Pizza Express reputation, and the dough balls were the best we've ever had at a Pizza Express. I would definitely recommend the Pizza Express in Ilkley to others.
Myself and my partner visited tonight. Greeted wwith a smile and seated promptly. Service was brilliant. Had a small issue with he pizza but this managed with profession and sorted promptly. The staff were wonderful, especially the man serving at the entrance at the time.

We booked a table for four had a great meal. We all chose Pizza, our server Francois was brilliant advising us on the different types of toppings bases, recommended a crisp pinot grigio to accompany the meal. Excellent service lively atmosphere, we will certainly return.
The change to the recipe by introducing raw onion and raw green pepper ruined our favourite. The base also not as usual The pizza tasted as if it was precooked and warmed on demand No intention of ever returning there
