As a longtime patron—well before the renovation and fire—I’ve always had a fondness for this establishment. The food is excellent, fresh, and clean. In the past, it was a cozy spot with only 5 or 6 tables, one waiter, and a casual atmosphere. While the food remains delicious, the expanded space now attracts a larger crowd, which can lead to chaos. There often doesn’t seem to be enough staff, especially during busy times, and the service can suffer significantly as a result. It can be quite frustrating; if you don’t catch the attention of the waitress, you might not get to place your order, or even be seated. I'm a long time Greenwich resident who has been coming to this place in Cos Cob for years, since the kids were young. The place changed after the renovation. It is now an All American pizza joint serving working class families who take personalresponsibility for their lives, and the suburban moms in town who bring their children here after a long day at theirneighborhood schools. The ice cream next door at Gofers is great!
This place is amazing. We recently moved from NYC to Greenwich, Pizza Post is recommended by quite a few neighbors. It totally live up with the expectation and exceed it too. Soup, Pizza, Pasta is always fresh, delicious, super hot when serving. Afterjust a few weeks, we come here often enough that waitress remember our regular now. It is definitely our go-to pizza and pastaplace.
Great local restaurant with quality pizza and subs. I always enjoy eating there or getting the food delivered. Local family owned business that is fantastic! They are part of the community… We support them! Vegetarian options: Salads, veggie pizza etc. Kid-friendliness: Great pizza in a friendly restaurant. Other options available for kids too. Not bad. Dough was a little tough and rubbery. Should have asked for well done. Red pie had way too little cheese and white pie had way too much cheese.
They’re back and better than ever. Best pizza in Greenwich. Just look at that undercarriage. It doesn’t get any better. My kid loves this place.
