First called to order then got hung up on. So ordered online. Got there and the pizza was ready but we ordered pizza rolls as well. He said hold on. Went on the phone for a while and then went back and started making them lol. I told him forget it just give me my money back for them and he said he can’t.that we have to go thru the App. What’s worse is a lil girl put money in one of their machines to get a prize and it took her money but didn’t work. The Mom came up to get a refund and he said he can’t sorry there not our machines….joke! Been going here for 40 years and will never go back. Pizza is totally different and service is terrible…a real shame!!!
We went here about a year ago because I saw a post that said they were hurting due to the pandemic, It was the worst pizza by far I had ever had! So last weekend we went to Smart Final and saw it was under new ownership so we thought we would give it a shot and it was well worth it. I love thin crust pizza , my wife and I both got the $5 one topping pizza and it was a lot bigger than I expected and very good. If you haven't been here in a while give it a shot.
Right now eating soggy and cold Royal pizza takeaway becuz they cant judge when to start my order, and I was there early.$8 garden salad is like from a cafeteria: expensive joke.$2 service fee for CC, that you dont learn about until after. Staff is great, this is as traditional as a pizza place as you can get lots of picnic style tables and TV's along with video games in the back. It's fun to watch them make the pizzas, there's a window to view them from the sidewalk. Owner also has some Mexican restaurants so they bring in tacos, makes for a great place for appetizers!

This place had long been a staple of Alta Loma. Anyone who has ever played sports growing up will forget it. After we won 3 games in a row it was PIZZA PARTY TIME! PR wad one of the parlors that sponsors trams, but always has the best pizza. No matter how far I move I will ALWAYS make Pizza Royal a MUST stop when I visit Cali.
I stopped in last week when I saw a sign for $5 pizza. I went in and it was clean and sadly empty. I played a few $1 games while I waited and looked at the old baseball plaques. The pizza was pretty and very good. It was bigger than I thought and it was evenly cut. I ended up having left overs ,plenty for two people.
New ownership, craopy plastic pizza. They used to flood their pizzas with cheese and toppings. Not anymore. They cut way back on what counts. This was my favorite pizza in all of So Cal. Not anymore.
Pizza was still good if you like cracker crust under staffed had to wait a little bit but not bad that's why 3 stars but I like all kids of pizza
