Our second stop was PizzAmore in Carlstadt, where we set out to try their famous meatballs. The hospitality from Cheech was outstanding, and he was incredibly helpful. My dad and I ordered a couple of meatball parm sandwiches. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the cheese was fantastic (I really should have captured a video of the cheese pull, but unfortunately, I missed that opportunity). The only critique I have is that I felt the sauce and meatballs were slightly underseasoned, though taste can be subjective, so it might be just right for others. Overall, I truly enjoyed both the sandwich and the experience. You definitely won't leave disappointed!
They turned me into a believer! I'm so glad I finally had the chance to try their food. The pizza had the perfect balance of cheese to sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. The meatballs were fantastic, and the "Paulie" was spot on. I'm quite particular about my food, and this reminded me of the meals I enjoyed as a child from my favorite pizzeria. You could really sense the love that went into the cooking. If you're ordering for delivery, I recommend double-checking their hours, as the times listed on Google aren't always accurate. I'm really happy I decided to give it another try!
I finally had the chance to try this restaurant, and I definitely do not regret it. I ordered a meatball parm sandwich, which was generously sized and reasonably priced for the quality. I can’t wait to return and sample more items from the menu. So far, I highly recommend this place. The service was friendly, the food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices were fair. The plain pizza slice is also amazing, with the perfect amount of cheese and a crust that's crispy yet still doughy, just like good bread should be. The sauce is bursting with flavor. Plus, the service is incredibly quick; any sandwich or pasta dish I order is usually ready for pickup in just 15-20 minutes. Service is takeout, and the price per person ranges from $10 to $20.
