We are on our honeymoon in Palmela and we are staying in the Pousada Castelo de Palmela. Today we were going our for dinner and choosed the Pizzeria da Vila. In Palmela the restaurants are hidden in the lovely alleys, so watch out to find the right way. We came in and the waitress welcomed us very nicely. The restaurant is very cosy and well furnished. We choosed Pizza Calzone (Watch out, it’s bigger than usual in Germany ; and a bottle of vine. Everything was very tasty. As a dessert we had the tiramisu mmmh special taste. A former wine cellar, they rehabilitated the whole building and made a restaurant with an unique look out of it. The food is very good and they have original variations of pizza. Good place to go with family and kids.

Nice pizzeria ambiance and decor. The pizza dough is delicious, thin and crispy. Good for vegetarians. It is a family business , the owner and his wife come to the table to talk to costumers.
