I am a big fan of wood fired pizza. The pizza was deliverd on a wooden board and set on the pizza stand in the middle of the table. The pizza looked amazing. We shared the Parma a white basted pizza. The pizza base wood fired with golden edges with the odd charred pocket. The pizza was topped with garlic, olive oil and stacked with a mound of delicious prosciutto, shaved parmesan and rocket. Perect with a glass of red and good company.

This restaurant is located in the Bankstown Sports Club. The atmosphere in this restaurant is amazing. It feels like they are in a "little Italy". When we arrived, we could find a table immediately and welcomed by a very friendly waiter. The waiter was very friendly and helpful in our culinary experience. I'm so glad to have ordered San Marco Pizza and Penne in creamy pesto sauce, as they tasted delicious. The pizza was cooked well, especially the shrimp. They could tell the freshness of these seafood as well as the marinier process. The Penne-Pasta I ordered was also amazing, the sauce is creamy and just spiced well. If you want a decent feed and craving woodfire pizza, you will love this place. Great for Instagrammers wanting to take pretty photos of an Italy-inspired restaurant. I'm really jealous of people living near Bankstown because this place is amazing!
Had their Verdi pizza because I love vegetarian pizza and wanted to have a meat free meal. It was generous with its toppings and the mozzarella cheese was gorgeously stretchy!
I also love the fact that the pizza crust was thin and crispy so I was able to demolish the whole thing within 30 minutes. They also have lunch specials, which is great for those wanting to save a bit of cash when eating out for lunch.

Having dined at other restaurants in the entertainment mecca that is Bankstown Sports Club, came by on Friday night to check out the Italian restaurant. Was seriously surprised at how busy this place was; teeming with mainly families and large groups of diners, it was like landing in the middle of Termini for the first time and feeling completely disoriented. Find an unoccupied table and then order your food at the counter and drinks at the bar. For the prices, you could easily go to your local Italian and enjoy full table service but there is the convenience of free parking and options for drinks, dinner, dessert and live entertainment under the one roof.

It was incredibly busy and staff were getting quite confused but their desserts are absolutely delicious.
We ordered a slice of Nutella and Ricotta Cheesecake as well as Hazelnut Gelato and Cannoli.
The Nutella and Ricotta Cheesecake with the Hazelnut Gelato was a great combination. We ordered these separately but they made for a delicious dessert which I shared. Wasn't too sweet and didn't make you feel overly full.
We will eventually be back to try out the menu.
A local favorite for pretty decent pizza and it's hard to go to the fernese. A simple straightforward pizza with half thin crust, lovely tomato base shrimps and chili. I get chilli on the side, as Hubs is not a chili lover. The garlic bread is soft, but with visible garlic instead of being like a garlic oil. The Insalata was a little disappointing tonight, when he drowned in Balsamico. Still edible.
Great pizzas and the Yummeriest strong potato crates that is pretty much. Everything else was pretty average and too expensive. In particular, the "Tapas" section gives you 3 ArracinHi balls for about 15-20 US dollars and 3 slices halloumi for approximately the same. The service is good, but sometimes felt something too abrupt.
Wow, the last place where I would find a very good pizzeria and an Italian Eatery!

Love the pizzas from La Piazza. Thin Napoli styles with delicious toppings. Pretty much order the Farnese every time. Prawny goodness. Cheesy goodness. It comes with chilli flakes but I get them on the side as hubs is a baby.
