Admittedly, Duisburg doesn't have nearly as many nice-looking cafés or restaurants in comparison to other Rhine-Ruhr cities. I give my hats off to Da Roberto for being a cosy little place with understated pizza (very satisfying, and flavours that will just make your tongue and stomach thank you) and pretty friendly staff. It does take a while for them to bring out your food, so I'd recommend you go when you have a solid hour or so to spare for a meal. All in all, great interior and welcoming atmosphere, and Da Roberto would fit nicely on par with other café/restaurants in hipster/ trendy neighbourhoods around the globe.
