Pizzeria - La Piazza

Returned here in September after last being here in 2012. I can honestly say the food is still great and the service too. This restaurant has an exterior and interior seating structure which is very rustic looking and very Austrian. Situated in the quiet town of Saalfelden is a great place for locals and tourists alike to visit. A great choice when driving through and needing a decent meal or if holidaying near by. The staff are really friendly and accommodating, plus service is quick. The salami [with added mushrooms] pizza is a highlight as is the tuna salad. This restaurant is aptly named, being situated in the town square. There is plenty of outdoor seating and we sat and had chicken skewers. The food was delicious and the portions certainly generous although it still amazes me the number of stenchy smokers here. Service was efficient rather than engaging but the food arrived quickly. Prices were decent too.

Take care of this place when you order online they charge you 10€ of delivery fees which are not mentioned anywhere and you probably not even get the pizza you wanted. Tried to talk to the staff and the boss afterwards and they just hung up the phone.

We had a break with my kids and it was the only restaurant open at 3PM. Excellent surprise, real italian pizza and expresso, good price and very goos products. I recommend.

Noce atmosphere, fast service, good food. Also possible to order pizza by phone. We had Meso e Meso good Balkan food and 4 different pizza.
