Looking for food close to our hotel after a long day sight seeing we were eventually directed to this place that advertises itself as a Pizzeria but there are many other dishes on its menu. There are a few tables outside on the pavement but far more in the big side garden. If you know what you want then even though the staff speak little English you can still make yourself understood. The menu is NOT available in English and so if you have questions about what is included in the meal and what is not or if you are looking for an explanation then you will be out of look. I guess not too much of an issue with Pizza but the other dishes maybe more difficult.Anyway we went for traditional Wierner...

This restaurant offers both traditional Austrian, and Italian cuisine.I am one of those people that likes to eat the local food. So, I tried the Frittaten Soup. This is a beef broth with shredded pancake. My main course was a Zander Fillet with Spinach and boiled potatoes. The Zander is a cross breed of Pike and Perch. I must admit that I thoroughly enjoyed it. All washed down with a Beer and Coffee. A good price to for €24.00. They have smoking and non-smoking dining areas. Not many restaurants these days are so accommodating! Staying at the Turnerwirt, this was only a 5-10 minute walk away. The waiter was very nice and spoke English. I am happy with food and service that I received, and th...

Thanks to trip advisor ... I saw this Rangie as the nearest restaurant to Hotel Turnerwirt. And we sure did not regret our decision. It is an old restaurant and very charming with friendly waitress. We ordered the bruschetta... it came with fresh chopped tomatoes and tasty vinaigrette.. good choice. For mains, I shared w my daughter the risotto with shrimp and zucchini... We loved it! It wasn't overly creamy and the shrimp quantity was good. My husband ordered spaghetti fruiti de Mari.. he gave it a ok. Nothing to shout about. My youngest had the margarita pizza all to himself... he cleaned up his plate. Must be good! The cappuccino and latte were good. And last but not least, the pannacota w...

This was a restaurant just near to where we stayed. We went in early morning on a Sunday and had a beer, very tasty to our surprise. We came back later to sample their food and wine. We had starter (I had cream soup) which was fantastic and we went onto pizzas, not particularly my favourite type as the toppings just slide off but the taste of the rocket still reminded me of a pizza I once had in Sienna. All in all nothing flashy but still great service and outstanding beer. We asked the earlier waitress where to go in Salzburg and she was very helpful and cheerful and offered us advice such as the Monday coming was a bank holiday which we didn't know! Great service.
