Der Amico ist ein Urgestein in Langen - und er hat Montags auf. Das macht ihn eigentlich zu einer Empfehlung, denn wer hier lange überlebt, muss gut sein. Und Montags hat man wenig Alternativen. Trotzdem werde ich erstmal nicht wieder herkommen, dann hungere ich ab sofort Montags.Was läßt mich so grimmig schreiben? Es ist nicht das Restaurant an sich: Man sitzt relativ eng im kleinen Gastraum (falls es nicht Sommer ist und man vor dem Haus nett an Bierbänken sitzen kann) und genießt so etwas wie typisch italienische Atmosphäre. Mitten in einem Wohngebiet liegt das Restaurant 'Zum Amico' - wer Italien liebt, die Küche, das Lebensgefühl ist hier genau richtig: Bei all unseren Besuchen sind wir immer herzlich aufgenommen worden und haben immer sehr gut gegessen, egal ob wir nur auf eine kleine Pizza oder zum großen Menu z.B. mit der wunderbaren Vorspeisenplatte, kommen: Fisch, Fleisch, Nudeln, Gemüse, Salat, Dolce sind immer frisch, von Top Qualität, saisonal angepasst; dazu super Weine, Grappi. We have been living in Langen since 2015 and have always wanted to go there, so we have reserved it for our 7th anniversary. As a 2 table we had the choice directly at the entrance or access to the toilets. Well, we decided for the latter because it wasn't so full, it was okay. The food is in any case excellent, with increasing crowds of guests the one or other drinks wish will be forgotten. In any case, one notices that one is better treated as a regular guest, thus having to develop its status; the guestroom is clear and one should reserve. We will definitely go back because the food is really high and everything was really full when we go. That speaks for itself!
Sehr guter Italiener, sehr gute Pizzen uns Pasta, geschmacklich und optisch sehr gut - auch die Schnitzel sind zu empfehlen. Ein Klasse Atmosphäre in dem schönen Restaurant - und der Chef ist immer gut drauf. Sehr guter Service, aber wer mit mehreren Personen hin möchte kommt um eine Tischreservierung nicht vorbei. Also unbedingt Plätze reservieren. Parkplätz in den Nebenstraßen vorhanden. Empfehlung Book a table now
If Italians claim to be able to bake pizza, you should think about being Italian. A trip to Italy would be very beneficial as where the real pizza is baked and eaten. Sorry, but one of the worst pizzas I've eaten, it's a good taste. Carpaccio is also an art that unfortunately not everyone dominates.
In dieser Pizzeria sitzt man sehr familiär wie in einem großen Wohnzimmer. Diese Atmosphäre muß man mögen. Ebenso muß man den Humor des Chefs schätzen. Aber letztlich kommt es auf die Qualität des Essens an und da reiht sich der Amico in den Standard ein. Ich konnte nichts Besonderes erkennen!
We discovered this restaurant by accident, and it turned out to be excellent! They offer pasta, pizza, schnitzel some excellent Italian seafood. Our group of four had pasta with meat, salad, and seafood dishes. All the food was excellent and service was also friendly..
Ordered a Pizza for take away. It was very busy inside and the staff was very nice. At home there was a small surprise on the pizza the toppings. The Paprika and the mushrooms weren't fresh they were out of a canglass. Wich was dissapointing... Book a table now
Super Italian restaurant. For years delicious. Always well visited and the boss is always present. Small family business! I like going to the place.
