My family has been going here since we moved on Bedford street, 18 years ago, they were much better then. The place was cleaner and the people taking orders were more pleasant. A about a few weeks ago my mother and I ordered a pizza for delivery, it would have been nice if this location included how much a large cheese, pizza will cost entirely with delivery or even better included it on the Planet Pizza app which is where I go to order but this day I had to call in because I was using cash. Secondly, I was extremely disappointed that they driver didn't have any cash on him so I gave him the 40 dollars that I had left to pay for it and he just ran off with the money! A coworker and I ordered a large pizza for delivery and gave them clear instructions to go to the back of the building when they arrive. We were told it would take between 30-45 minutes. After an hour we called and were told the driver would be there shortly. Finally after 2 more phone calls and 30 more minutes we called the store again and were told the driver could not get a hold of us. We were only 5 minutes away from the store so we decided to wait for the driver to come back. The driver finally showed up after 2 hours and the pizza was not worth the $30 we payed for it. My lunch, my wallet, and the rest of my day have been ruined and I will never recover from this event.
I was there and got 4 slices and 2 drinks. The pizza was okay but nothing special and definitely not authentic NY pizza. The worst part about all of this is it cost $25 for all of it. These prices are insane especially because I can actually go to New York and order the same thing for like $7. I don't recommend this
Wow. Planet Pizza is the bad boyfriend I keep going back to because it’s convenient but all it does is let me down. I used to come here every day during work 5 years ago. Their delivery and food has gone down hill. Delivery on soggy bread with chewy chicken and hours ago made fries. Yuck

They need to hire reliable people to work here. I ordered my food which was never delivered. Guy says he left my food but clearly did not show up. I'm trying to reach the store no answer, I finally decided to drive there and they are closed. So now I can't even get my money back. Beyond
I made a phone call and placed an order however, the person who answered the phone was very rude. He had awful customer service skills, and I had to repeat myself many times. I think the business should consider having pleasant people take the orders before they start losing customers.
The slice of pizza was quite good this time. I usually don't enjoy Planèt Pizza, but the staff were really nice and tossed in a few garlic knots for free. It definitely put a smile on my face!
Twice now I've placed catering orders with very late notice and they were ready on time. Pizza is also solid, nice to get NY-style pizza in CT.
