When I walked in, I asked the staff what sets them apart from other sub shops. The guy replied, "We use fresh ingredients, and every sub is served hot." I was curious about the tuna, though—warm tuna? I thought I’d give it a try anyway. After placing my order and grabbing my chips, my hot tuna sub was brought to me. When he set it down, he kindly offered to make me another one at room temperature if I didn't like it warm. Now that's great customer service! I really enjoyed my meal and had a fantastic lunch break. I will definitely be back to try more of their hot, fresh subs!
Today, our family tried some subs for the first time at this restaurant. We ordered the Big Dipper, Meatball, Reuben, California Crab, and Ham and Swiss. My wife mentioned that the Meatball sub was a bit light on sauce but still tasty. Our youngest couldn't finish the Ham and Swiss. The two older kids loved their subs. I had the Big Dipper, and it was good; the au jus sauce wasn't too overpowering. I only managed to snap one photo of the subs because everyone else dove in right away!
Just want to say how much I appreciate this Planet Sub restaurant. They have remained open through most (maybe all? of the pandemic. The staff is friendly and upbeat. The sandwiches are tasty and hot. The iced tea is just right and the fountain always has lemonade to season it with. The service is quick. The tables are spaced far apart and usually for lunch it's not busy. Thank you for being here!
Food is good, albeit a little overpriced. I was frustrated that we came here because I had $13 in rewards, including a birthday reward that they emailed me about this week. When we went to order, they told me that all the old reward program wasn't good anymore. So why did I get an email about this reward two days ago? Book a table now
Fresh made sandwiches, prompt friendly service. Usually busy with people. Offer great deals if you sign up for their mailing list. Just got dinner for $8 for 2 ppl not bad.
