Due to attending a production next door at the platform for work, we decided to have a meal at the station. When entering Shannon was very friendly took time to speak to myself the lad I support who has additional needs. This was lovely very welcoming of her. Shannon advised on seating to order at the bar. Once we had ordered the food, it was brought to us by Emily, who was just as friendly taking the time to speak to the lad I support as well. The food itself was tasty, very good value enjoyable. Overall, the station is a wonderful pub, excellent staff im always happy to return recommend. Thanks to Shannon Emily for a simple act of kindness for making the lad I support feel seen accepted.
We occasionally visit this pub due to its reasonable prices and tasty food, particularly the burgers. Our decision to share this review stems from the consistent warmth and accommodation we 've experienced during our visits with our dog, 'Peanut '. The staff, notably our waiter 'Alfie ' on our recent visit, has consistently shown remarkable friendliness and helpfulness. Their gesture of bringing out a water bowl for Peanut further adds to the positive experience. We look forward to returning here in the future.
There was a large group of us eating however the food all arrived together and everything was correct and hot. Alfie did an excellent job of sorting out all the meals and was very efficient and friendly. The bar staff also did a good job with a large group and not many staff on duty. Would have been easier for them if they had more staff, but they did very well managing our group.
Lovely spacious pub. We have been here between Christmas and New Year with a large family group the last couple of years and there is always a warm welcome. Staff are very accommodating and quickly sorted us out a large table despite not booking. Good menu selection, can particularly recommend the fish and chips.

The staff at this restaurant were exceptional - polite, helpful, and hardworking. We ordered a meal for a large group of 20+ people and all the food was hot and arrived together. The dishes were delicious and offered great value for money. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Very dog friendly. Gail was a great waitress and took time to chat. Food was delicious with great, fast food service. Large restaurant so ideal for us to visit with 2 dogs. Reasonably priced and good food. We would definitely recommend to anyone. We will be back 5

The service provided by a male staff member was outstanding. I apologize for not remembering his name, but I can say he went out of his way to ensure we felt welcomed.
We had a meal for my friends 50th. Food was lovely Alfie our waiter was so polite and got all the orders our quickly for a group of 17 of us.
