Platzmühle - Table reservation

Appalling first meal was a Calzone it was burnt all over the outside… and was still served to us! We sent it back and a second try the middle of the calzone was cold! On a third try it was reasonable but not...particularly good very watery inside. No apology was given. Our other meal was a beef schnitzel- and paper thin , on chips… and nothing else. I had to ask for the sauce and lemon (which was on the menu description When the bill came they charged us full price! I spoke to the manager who was very rude and aggressive and I demanded a discount to the meal. We won’t be back. A alternative to this nonsense- is the Bauernhof Restaurant Talacher Baar!! a MUCH better restaurant- more atmospher...

Been in Zug for years and I am a lover of Italian food and pizza in particular. I must say that the food at Platzmühle in general is super but... their pizzas stand out and I would consider the wood fire owen pizzas the...best in Zug. No doubt. Its as simple as that and I just enjoyed the best one I ever had... And the environment by the lake is marvelous..

I have been to Platzmühle a couple of times and ordered pizza on my first visit. The pizza was great: tasty filling, crunchy edges, big enough to fill me up. The second time I ordered fried Egli fish fillet with fresh vegetable salad. Pleased with...the taste and quality. I will come back here!

Very good and friendly service. Restaurant is located by the Zug lake wirh food views. We took pizza, which was very good and not too greasy or heavy.

Pizza was not good, service was not good either and we found it too expensive for what they offered.
