After reading the TA reviews we were excited about our visit When I rang for a reservation I asked for 9pm and was told only 8.30 was available which was fine , we arrived to an empty restaurant and after a 5 min walk around we found someone to seat us we were in fact the only dinners that evening ? Si pasáis por Villaricos no dudéis un instante en parar en Playa Azul y probar su inmejorable arroz con bogavante . Un auténtico festival de sabores intensos. Sin duda está en mi top tres de los mejores arroces que he probado en mi vida. El trato muy agradable y el servicio rápido y eficaz.
Restaurante familiar simplemente espectacular. Comida de cuchara tradicional, pescado fresco, sopa de marisco, arroz con bogavante, etc. Además, la amabilidad de todos los trabajadores te hacen sentir como en casa. Mención especial para la señora Maruja, dueña y alma de este negocio.

Comimos arroz con bogavante y estaba bueno. El pulpo frito exquisito. Pero los precios muy altos. El dueño muy amable; pero se equivocaron en la reserva y en la cuenta. Aunque después rectificaron sin problema.
Estuve un par de días, y la verdad, que fue acogedor. La amabilidad del dueño y la buena comida del restaurante me gustó mucho. Lugar muy tranquilo y con la playa y calas justo al lado.
Hemos venido recomendados por una amiga. Y menudo acierto. El menú del dia espectacular. Por cantidad y calidad. (Y las patatas fritas del segundo plato... NATURALES Sin ser congeladas)
Fantastic village great market place . Very friendly locals. All the stall offered different produce. A variety of clothes . Also beautifully colored pashminas .
