At the time of writing this review the Restaurante Playamaro is ranked 3 out of 9 Restaurants in Maro, so all I can say is that numbers one and two must be quite something. OK this place doesn 't look much, but the food we found to be very good, as was the service and well, a 3 course lunch for Eur9.90 was really excellent value. My wife and I both had the stuffed scallop to start, which were cooked perfectly (unlike a previous reviewers comments) and they were full of good seafood. My main course was described (I think) as Ribs in sauce , and I have to say these ribs with BBQ sauce were probably the most tender and succulent I 've ever eaten. The sauce was not poured over the ribs either so...
estuvimos allí 5 noches y la verdad es que nos a gustado muchísimo, nos tocó la habitación en un edificio de enfrente, cama cómoda, televisión grande y daba a un balcón exterior. La habitación es lo justo y necesario para dormir, tuvimos un problemilla al llegar ya que cuando entramos en la habitación no teníamos luz aún así teniendo la tarjeta para que tuviesemos luz, se lo comunicamos a la recepción y vino un hombre súper majo que nos lo arregló en el momento son cosas que pasan y puede pasarle a todo el mundo) además el aire funcionaba de escándalo eso se debe destacar. La limpiadora era super maja, la habitación estaba impecable y siempre estaba pendiente de si necesitabamos toallas, pap...
Hotel: Leyendo los comentarios nos esperábamos algo horrible pero la verdad que al llegar fue lo que se describe y lo que se espera por el precio. Nos dieron una habitación en un edificio de al lado del hotel en planta baja en la que se escuchaba mucho ruido de las personas saliendo y entrando pero era soportable. La habitación está bien, tiene aire y esta limpia. La piscina es muy pequeña pero tiene vistas al mar y para refrescarse un poco está bien. Restaurante: Hicimos una comida y un desayuno en el, está bastante bien. Recomendamos la lasaña y las costillas.
We have recently returned from a week in a villa in Maro 7 of us aged between 18 and 71. Whilst there we tried the Playamaro on our first night the food was delicious and service was great. We tried other restaurants in the area, but it was the Playamaro that we returned to 3 times during our stay and was our favourite. Look out for the fluffy white cat who lives nearby and visits the restaurant. he just hangs around not bothering anyone we fell in love with him !

Warning very bad service and food! We ordered a 3 course menu it took almost an hour before we got our starter. One of them was written to be a salad but it consisted of 90% over boiled potato and some red pepper?! When more then an hour hand gone and we still didn’t get the main course we left.
La ubicación esta genial, con un gran parking muy cerca, la piscina del hotel es muy acogedora y una gran zona de descanso con buenas vistas. Las habitaciones bien aunque con algunos desperfectos. La atencion y el servicio de 10, el bar muy completo mejoraría la calidad del bufet
La Cafetería del Hotel nos salvó hoy domingo por la mañana, pues no había ningún otro sitio donde desayunar en Maro. Además está abierto desde las 8.00am. Buen desayuno y buen servicio. Parada obligada para todos los senderistas antes de iniciar el Sendero del Rio de Sanguino.
El hotel es muy tranquilo y la ubicación es muy buena. La habitación está bien por el precio que tiene. Sin embargo, los colchones y las almohadas son muy incómodas. Mi pareja y yo volvemos con contracturas después de 3 días de vacaciones….

No nos alojamos allí, solo fuimos a comer. Nos atendieron bien, la comida estaba muy buena, bien elaborada y abundante. Algo caro.
