Got there at 7:30pm she took my order at 7:50. She(bartender)came over and said “what”? I said chicken wrap and a coke, she just walked away. At 8:35 8:40pm I got my food. Got home in 5 minutes and the food was cold and fries soggy. Threw it away. The waitress I asked to check on my food did say “it’s been there a while”. I arrived on Friday, August 25th, at 6:25 PM, and my order was taken at 7:50 PM. The female bartender finally approached me and simply asked, "What?" I ordered a Coke and a Gold Fever wrap, but she walked away without saying anything further. I received my food at 8:35 PM. I had to ask a waitress about the delay, and she went to the other end of the bar to grab my food, stating, "It's been there a while." I visited Players for the first time to celebrate a friend's birthday and catch a performance by Booty Vortex. The appetizers and drinks were both enjoyable, and the band was truly fantastic! The staff was also very attentive. However, I wished the manager had cleared out the function room by 9 PM, as the party extended beyond 9:39, causing the band to start late. While we all paid the $20 cover charge to see the band—which was absolutely worth it—the function room party didn’t have to pay and lingered on, leaving tables in place and reducing the size of the dance floor. Despite this, we made the most of it and had a great time. I just hope future events are managed more effectively.
I recently ordered takeout for lunch and was thoroughly impressed. The meal was not only delicious, but it was also an excellent value at $10–20 per person. The food deserves a solid 5-star rating, and the service matched that with an equal 5-star performance. If you're looking for a great dish, I highly recommend trying their chicken wings; they are simply outstanding!
