I really enjoyed the atmosphere at this restaurant, and the staff were wonderful. It felt a bit on the expensive side, but I ended up getting two meals out of it, so the value was good. My only concern was that most of the menu featured pork in nearly every dish. While that's fine for many people, it took me some time to find something without pork. Thankfully, the server was helpful in suggesting alternatives. I genuinely wanted to love this place and return, but ultimately, it just wasn't the right fit for me.
The filet was cooked to perfection! However, the salmon, which I ordered medium, arrived well done. After an 8-hour road trip, I was really hungry, so I chose to eat it rather than sending it back to the kitchen. The server was very polite, but my water glass did go empty at one point. The atmosphere was great, and there was plenty of parking available. It's also safe for those with celiac disease, as gluten-free options are offered.
Wonderful history and the best homemade pastries I’ve had in my whole life! Clean restrooms too at this adorable hole in the wall restaurant. Such history in the building and the family’s drive to provide made from scratch home cooked meals. Brought back great memories of the foods my family and friends made while I was growing up.

We just enjoyed a birthday celebration for 12 members of our family. John was very attentive and accommodating to our needs. Our server did an excellent job as well. Everyone raved about the food and the service. I enjoyed the meatloaf and it was awesome! The cheese grits are a must-have as well. We will definitely be back!
Quick service! We really enjoyed looking at all the memorabilia throughout the restaurant. The menu was impressive, showcasing the chef's dedication to beautifully arranged dishes. We loved the chicken served at our table, from fried to tenders! But the chicken fried steak was simply delicious!
This restaurant is fantastic! I tried the pulled pork sandwich and my husband had the shrimp tacos. The vibe here is really nice, the food is delicious, and John provided excellent service. We will definitely come back!
