We had planned to go to Plumbohms for a while, as it looked so warm and welcoming. When we eat there tonight, we were very disappointed and let ourselves be cheated a bit. First, the restaurant was not busy yet, but it took an hour until our food arrived. During this time we heard the cooks in the kitchen that screamed like football hooligans, and at one point a waiter went in to tell them to close because the whole restaurant could hear them. When our food arrived, the Polnta Burger had no wort or dressing with salad, so basically raw chopped pieces of beet root and rocket with a very dry Polnta Burger was. The pasta in Gorgonzola and cream sauce contained little gogonzola, but another type...
My wife and I visited on a Sunday afternoon, the weather was wonderful and we were lucky to get an outside table in the shade. We were surprised, considering how busy they were, that only two people were waiting and serving. I helped myself to a couple of menus, and to her credit the busy waitress arrived before too long. Our drinks arrived promptly, but the same could not be said for the food. Apparently the kitchen was understaffed as well. When our food did finally arrive, a signature hamburger for me and a rump steak for my wife, it was very well presented. My hamburger was interestingly dressed and had a delightful sweet salsa for dressing. The meat patty was a little dense for my taste...
We noticed the restaurant when we went through the city... we were attracted to the interesting furnishings and lighting. The menu was very eclectic and portions were more than much. Beautiful aromas, atmosphere and great waiting staff.
Good quality of food, although not a great choice, but the burgers and steaks are very good. Personnel does not speak English, so it is a challenge to make an order)
