While visiting family we tried this highly reviewed restaurant. At first it appeared to be as great as advertised until we received the food and drinks. I started by getting this cold brew coffee with chocolate and coconut. They put so much coconut in the drink it became a mushy mess you can't drink. My wife and son ordered the Dutch baby, one of the reasons I picked this place. These guys do not know what a Dutch baby is because the bottom is supposed to be crepe like but instead it was like fry bread. My son could barely cut it with his knife. My other son ordered a sweet potato hash. Again not sure where they went to culinary school but hash is like hash browns. This was sweet potato baby...

I was disappointed with the experience I had with the service at this restaurant. We were here with some friends celebrating a birthday and unfortunately the service was lacking in friendliness and attentiveness. My friend had an issue with an order and she isn't the type to send food back, but the waiter responded quite rudely and defensively when she had asked for a different order politely. I was taken aback because this wasn't the service we were expecting at an establishment of this caliber. The food was mediocre. We liked about half of the things we ordered. I ordered the wrap which was decent and my husband ordered the biscuits and gravy. My friends did not particularly enjoy their or...

Plums has changed a lot in the last 7 years. The food used to have flavor. The menu was 20% less crowded and the choices were much better. The potatoes had no flavor, the sourdough toast was like beyond blend and even tasted like it wasn't fully baked. Even the my managed to burnt the bacon a bit. We a week old reservation we still had to wait 30 minutes for a table. The sat 4 of us in a table for 2 people after we got tired of waiting for our reserved table outside and requested to be seated inside. They service is like about the same as you would get at cheap coffee shop, their prices are not. No management in sight. Very disappointing.

First time here with couple of friends. service is excellent with Consuelos. She is full of personality! : Everything about the food and location is great but it’s a little bright and can use some color decor or shade or something when sitting inside looking out. It’s missing the farm to table look, somehow. Great place for catching up with friends, your family etc Dietary restrictions: Server is very accommodating and helpful Book a table now

We arrived an hour early to our reservation. The hostess told we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated early. I understood and we waited. However another party of two walked in without a reservation and was seated immediately while we still waited. I brought this to her attention and then she told us that we were up next to be seated. It really looked like race was a factor in this treatment.

Compared to alot of other places, in my opinion this is over priced. Dogs are allowed, but some people don't control their dogs and staff allows this behavior. Also didn't help that we were sitting for almost 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged and offered water. Food was decent, but nothing special.

Complete perfection food and service both amazing! Highly recommend for elevated tastes and comfortable surroundings. Be sure to try the giant cinnamon roll it easily feeds 4! Vegetarian options: They were very accommodating in modifying a dish to meet vegetarian request

I don’t know how else to rave about this brunch spot other than I dined there 3 times during my 1.5 week visit. I can do the biscuit gravy all day long. Awesome food and service. Definitely on my to-eat list every time I step foot in OC. Book a table now

Pleasant cafe with outdoor seating available. Fabulous unique menu items I've only seen here. Ie: dutch baby, grilled bre cheese, more. Can't wait to go back and try another new dish.
