Poh-keh Bowl - Table reservation

This place is not what I would call a poke place. It 's not remotely authentically prepared, which was disappointing to me. ???? I will say that the ingredients used seem very FRESH and the place is CLEAN. The quality of the fish is FANTASTIC! I thought some of the mixes seemed *creative* to what I 'm used to seeing, which did give me pause that I was really going to get poke. The biggest let down is really the rice is NOT prepared correctly at ALL. It 's very bland and reminds me of plain dinner rice. ?The rice is PARAMOUNT to a good poke bowl. ? I found a hidden gem here. The soup is souper good and tasty. The friend I go with to this place comments on how clean it is and she is a clean freak. That is her highest compliment besides the yummy soup and green tea. I like the acoustics. Peaceful. I look forward to trying other dishes and soups .

I usually don?t write reviews but this made me so happy. I order here all the time and they usually are never out of anything but I thought it was so sweet she gave me a substitute to try on the side!! It was super good

Had two good smoothies. Tasted great and included basic ingredients. Nice little place to have lunch, dinner, or a tea/smoothie. Full disclosure, I'm extended family of the owners.
