I walked in and was immediately greeted by the cashier. I had a few questions to ask about some of the items on the menu and they were answered quickly and with a smile. I asked what the recommended hoagie was and was given both a hot and cold recommendation. The Italian sub I received wasn't messy, had fresh ingredients, and overall was very very good. The additional mozzarella sticks I ordered were hot, flavorful, and very well paired with the marinara sauce provided. The pricing was below what other local delis charge for the same, with twice the quality. Overall, I think that Polisenos has earned a regular dedicated customer, and will probably keep earning more.
Good food, but not good service in a pandemic. Cashier who took our order had her (I assume) boyfriend eating in the restaurant who she would then go join and also remove her mask. Then when our food was ready she gave it to us without putting her mask back on even though it was just around her neck. Sloppy service and disregard for other's health in this critical time.
This Italian sandwich shop is fantastic! The owner is friendly and they serve authentic Italian subs made with imported meats and cheeses, not the typical lunch meat ones you find at other delis. Be sure to try the chicken cutlet with sharp provolone and long hots, as well as the one with spinach and toasted peppers - both are excellent choices.
Went there to specifically get the Roast pork. They were out so I ordered a Chicken Cheesesteak with Broccoli rabe and extra sharp provolone and a regular Cheesesteak with fried onions and ketchup. I got 2 chicken Cheesesteaks, with very, very little broccoli rabe. And no sharp cheese. BTW my hubby does not like chicken steaks

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Subs are good. Salads are better. Service is ok (barely got a smile). Flavors are excellent, taste buds exploding. Would suggest a better bread choice. Really have to use my central and lateral incisors to get through the bread.
Best sandwich shop in Bridgeton. Would recommend any of the cutlet sandwiches or putting the cutlet on a salad. Soup available throughout the winter, may need to ask as it’s an off the menu item.
If you want a cheesestake hoggie with everything, this is the place. Order the same thing all the time. They have a picnic table where I can sit with my Service Dog and enjoy my sandwhich.
Sandwiches were uneventful. Italian was lacking meat. Cheese steak was lacking flavor. Chicken was okay but all lacked a good quality roll. The rolls seemed like a cheap day old roll.

Sharp Italian is fresh and fantastic! Clean place with friendly staff. Atmosphere is nothing fancy, but fine. Quality lunch served quickly.
The subs used to be good, but something changed and now they're just average. I no longer go because you never know when it's open anymore.
