First time at this Pollo Tropical. I decided to try the crispy chicken. First, they gave me steak which I would have taken but the server realized her mistake and made me another Tropichop. The steak has an upcharge so I get why she didn 't give it to me but still I hate that it was wasted. I ended up disappointed with the chicken. It tasted good but if you are going to call something crispy , it should actually be crispy. My chicken was just breast meat with soggy breading. I have advertised a great looking salad, with salad, tomatoes, with a beautiful piece of steak cut up with avocado. There was an employee outside who made orders in our cars. I mentioned the salad I advertised and he said: No, we didn't, but you can get the tropics with salad instead of rice. I told him I wanted salad and tomatoes with steak and avocado. He said they had 2 sizes, I asked how big it was, he said his pretty big, so I decided to do it. When I came home and opened my salad, I was very disappointed! Okay, that's rare that I ever had a problem eating in Pollo, but I brought my stepmother there for the first time and she ordered a Quesadilla and it literally had small mistakes creeping inside. She'll never eat there again.
Two times in a row no pickles on the Cuban sandwich and the second time it was not pickles or mustard sauce. It's a simple sandwich, it's not hard. The quality of the service in this place has moved down. Wouldn't recommend.
