Usually always good food here. There are a few locations and all of them cook about the same quality of food. The food came out crazy fast and the service was on point. 44 dolls for 2 people is pretty cheap considering NYC prices. Update...Fri August 28. I'm not taking away any stars but we ordered similar food items as last time and both came out way over cooked and almost black in color. I should of returned it but I ate most of it anyway because I thought it would be ok but it wasn't. Next time please if the food is that burnt don't serve it to the customer because it ruined the good first time I had.

Today my friend and I went to POLLOS A LA BRASA MARIO #2. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lighting and atmosphere are great. They have outdoors seating and limited indoors seating. As we enter the door our temperature were checked, we were given a printed form to write our names, address and phone# for contact tracing . I appreciate the amount of precautions they are taking to prevent the spread of Covid-19 during this unprecedented time. The food were delicious and the portion size were very good. I recommend this place for some comfort colombian food.
I was here twice in my life, once about a decade ago, and again this week. The food, well you better get ready to eat, because the plates are absolutely massive! Pricing is fair but it's worth it. Our server was really helpful I had the Bandeja típica, which consisted of bistek, pork belly, rice, beans, plantain, and arepa. Everything was delicious! I ordered myself a lulo, sorry if the spelling is wrong, for a drink, it was really tasty and filling. I definitely recommend coming here if your in NYC, and want some local cuisine straight from the barrio!
Excellent authentic Colombian food ! They have many typical dishes from Colombia . Their rotisserie style chicken is amazing ! My favorite is their Bandeja tipica , which comes with steak , rice , beans , pork , and an egg . I been eating at this restaurant for over a decade Never been disappointed . Book a table now
Great food, kind staff but don't like how they pack the SALAD together with the rice (thats hot) ??? I got home to my salad being all soggy and bad. They should pack the salad ALONE to preserve its freshness. Upset. I had to throw it out and had to try to enjoy my meal without a salad.
Food was ok, the portions were less than what we usually get. Our waiter seemed annoyed/angry since the second we were seated and he never came to check on us after we got our food. We had another employee who was helpful when we asked for green sauce and a to-go container.
The Colombian food here is always a must have whenever I'm in the area. It gives me a very friendly feel, the waiter was attentive and made sure we always had good service. Will definitely be coming back for another bandeja tipica!
This has been a neighborhood stable for many years. The food is spot on. Great chicken, the rice and beans are always consistently tasty. Worth a stop if you want some good food.Food: 4/5 Book a table now
Love their filet with mixed seafood in cream sauce. Delicious. We come for this dish often. We don't eat meat anymore, but we used to eat bandeja tipica when we did. Also delicious.
Great food at very affordable pricing. I love the rice and pork beans. It is consistently good every time I get it. Also a big fan of their rotisserie chicken and chicharon
